In 2014, Sangha Member AlejAndro Anastasio qualified for the Toastmasters International World Championship of Public Speaking. As a professional speaker, he has shared his story of inspiration and humor in 8 countries and across the United States to people of all ages.
AlejAndro has been teaching Buddhism to children and adults since 2004 and is the main teacher and President of the Boise Dharma Center.
In this presentation, AlejAndro will share his knowledge as a professional speaker and experience as a Dharma Teacher offering insights to enhance public speaking and teaching Buddhism. The goal is to offer his perspective on how to approach being a better public speaker and Buddhist teacher through learning, contemplation, and meditation.
